National training provider, InterLearn is delighted to announce the appointment of Hayley Wilcox as Director of Quality & Operations
Hayley brings with her over 15 years of experience within the skills and employability sector, much of which has been spent in a leadership capacity. With a career spanning roles in some of the most successful work-based learning and welfare to work organisations in the UK, Hayley has acquired a wealth of experience managing organisational business improvement and transition activities. Most recently, she has been heading up her own consultancy business prior to being persuaded to join the Senior Leadership Team at InterLearn.
Already fulfilling the role of Interim Director of Quality since September this year, Hayley assumes the permanent dual role from January 2020, when she will be mainly responsible for ensuring customer delivery and quality expectations are met.
With full responsibility for the leadership and development of InterLearn’s quality team and operational delivery, Hayley will play a key role in meeting the company’s ambitious performance goals as well as building its reputation for service and delivery in line with external accreditations and to the satisfaction of all stakeholders.
Speaking of the appointment, InterLearn’s COO, Craig Hughes said “We are very pleased to have Hayley on board with us in this role from the New Year, having spent considerable time looking for a strong candidate to join our close senior management team. Having worked with Hayley since September and being aware of her previous experience, we know we have found a results focused, strategic leader with a good track record of raising standards and driving exceptional levels of quality and performance.”
Hayley added: “InterLearn is already performing well in some very desirable sectors, such as transport and logistics where it has supported apprentice train drivers and conductors to be the first in the country to achieve the new standards. We have a tremendous opportunity to grow further and to diversify into new sectors, taking our strong business values and delivery to new clients. We are just at the right position for me to join and to help the team move to the next level.”

The company delivers apprenticeships to around 750 employees in companies across a few key sectors including transport and logistics, manufacturing and production and professional services with a range of apprenticeships provided in each, from L2 business admin and supply chain operative to L5 Operations Manager.
One of InterLearn’s largest markets is within the rail industry, delivering the first L2 & L3 train driving standard and onboard services apprenticeship through End Point Assessment this year.
