If you’re looking to understand new IT skills and are committed to the duration of the programme, then yes. Learning these skills will help you to stand out when applying for your next opportunity, gaining a vocational qualification recognised by employers. To complete this course, you will need access to a computer and a basic level of IT knowledge; it’s not for beginners. It would be of benefit to have some level of confidence in producing documents in Word, PowerPoint and Excel as you will be expected to do this as part of your assessment.
