The SHE (Safety, Health and Environment) Technician qualification forms part of our IOSH based apprenticeship pathway, which is an ideal training package to complement your Level 3 Safety, Health and Environment Technician apprenticeship as together they combine to perfectly map to the required skills, knowledge and behaviours of this award.
Completing your SHE Technician qualification as part of our IOSH apprenticeship pathway means you will also receive credit for the NCFE IOSH Certificate in Safety and Health for Business qualification, as well as internationally recognised certificates for the IOSH Managing Safely® and IOSH Environment for Business courses.

This apprenticeship is suitable for all staff who will work with management and delivery teams to advise on the statutory health, safety and environmental requirements. This will therefore cover a multitude of roles and industries.
Future opportunities; where this qualification is recognised
Upon completion you will be able to join the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) at TechIOSH level. You will also be eligible to join the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA) at Affiliate level. Alongside this, you will be awarded internationally recognised IOSH Managing Safely® and IOSH Environment for Business awards, and the NCFE IOSH Level 3 Certificate in Safety and Health for Business to really open doors for those looking to progress into the safety and health profession.
The SHE Technician will be able to work in organisations of varying size and industry and could be based in one location or involved traveling across a range of contracts and premises. You will work with both management and delivery teams to advise on all matters of health, safety and environmental requirements, to ensure people are working without harming themselves or others. You will be expected to inspire and influence others to see the benefit of working responsible and to demonstrate how safety, health and environmental good practice can enhance operational activities.
