Interlearn recently had the pleasure of enrolling 28 new apprentices at the Walsall-based design and manufacturing firm, Adams Enclosures. The family-run business has called upon InterLearn to deliver its PMO, Team Leading and Operations Manager qualifications.
Formed in 2006, Adams Enclosures design and manufacture bespoke control and switchboard enclosures to the UK and Europe from their 24,000 sq ft West Midlands base. They are dedicated to continuous improvement and investment in both their staff and facilities, enabling them to provide excellent customer service to their clients.
Speaking about the decision to upskill their teams, Simone Wallet, General Manager at Adams Enclosures said: “Having made great investments in recent years into our infrastructure and improving our tools, machinery and processes, we are now delighted to be investing in our employee’s professional development through InterLearn’s apprenticeship programmes. We are confident that the training provided will boost not only our productivity but also our staff’s skill-set and career progression. We look forward to our continued journey with InterLearn”
Pictured below are Martin Walton and Scott Stansbie both enrolling onto their Level 3 Team Leader Supervisor Apprenticeship.
Martin Walton, a Welder/Fabricator and also a first aider at the company, revealed that he hopes to master a range of management techniques and gain extra confidence in managing his team effectively. “I am excited by and grateful for this opportunity and feel motivated to take on this challenge. I hope to be a better person at the end of it.”
Scott Stansbie, Prep Section Team Leader within the business is full of ambition and hopes to gain the skills necessary from his apprenticeship to progress to the next level and beyond in both his career and his on-going professional development. “I’ve enjoyed the enrolment process today and am looking forward to where the apprenticeship might take me.”
There is a real sense of family within the company with each member of the team highly appreciated and supported. InterLearn is naturally delighted to be working with such a quality focussed business that demonstrates such high employer values and we wish them, and all the newly enrolled apprentices, excellent progression and success.
